Many people are outraged today at the scandals and abuses of priests, pastors and ministers. Today’s passage shows that God is even more outraged and lays out His plan to not only confront bad priests who misrepresent Him but also raise up a faithful people who will honour Him.
Sometimes we lack confidence. Other times, we’re so confident we take on battles we were never designed to face. Discerning between the world’s battles and the Lord’s battles helps us to know when to dig in and when to walk away.
